  1. Tou, accessible from tou.jgu.edu.in, one of JGU’s main priorities is the privacy of JGU’s visitors. This Privacy Policy document contains types of information that are collected and recorded by Tou and how JGU uses it.

II. Log Files

Tou follows a standard procedure of using log files. These files log visitors when they visit websites. All hosting companies do this and a part of hosting services’ analytics. The information collected by log files includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet Service Provider (ISP), date and time stamp, referring/exit pages, and possibly the number of clicks. These are not linked to any information that is personally identifiable. The purpose of the information is for analyzing trends, administering the site, tracking users’ movement on the website, and gathering demographic information.

  1. Like any other website, Tou uses ‘cookies’. These cookies are used to store information including visitors’ preferences, and the pages on the website that the visitor accessed or visited. The information is used to optimize the users’ experience by customizing JGU’s web page content based on visitors’ browser type and/or other information.

This Privacy Policy applies only to JGU’s online activities and is valid for visitors to its website with regards to the information that they shared and/or collect in Tou. This policy is not applicable to any information collected offline or via channels other than this website.

  1. O.P. Jindal Global University built the Tou app as a Free app. This SERVICE is provided by O.P. Jindal Global University at no cost and is intended for use as is.
  2. This page is used to inform visitors regarding JGU’s policies with the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information if anyone decided to use our Service.
  3. If you choose to use JGU’s Service, then you agree to the collection and use of information in relation to this policy. The Personal Information that JGU collects is used for providing and improving the Service. JGU will not use or share your information with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy.
  4. The terms used in this Privacy Policy have the same meanings as in our Terms and Conditions, which is accessible at Tou unless otherwise defined in this Privacy Policy.
